Intro

Bijou World Mobile offers members the classic gay movies of Bijou Video Company on an easy-to-browse mobile site. These movies were produced in the 70s and 80s, and all feature guy-on-guy action. It was interesting to me to consider that these movies were all created well before the Era of the Smart Phone, yet here they are, all set as mp4s and ready for you to take with you anywhere.

The Pros

Classic gay video collection.

Bijou World Mobile features a hot collection of vintage gay scenes. Bijou and its creator Steven Toushin are regarded as pioneers who developed the gay adult film industry, so it's fascinating to take a look at where the modern gay video got its roots. You'll see twinks and jocks, military men, threesomes, furry 70's dudes, and more in this entertaining collection.

Not a small collection.

Bijou World has a nice sized collection, with 142 DVDs currently online. Each DVD is full-length, so over an hour each. There's quite a bit for members to enjoy.

Good browse tools.

I had no trouble getting around the site. The design was clean and includes plenty of helpful tools for members. You can browse by pornstar, by date, or view the highest rating. There's also a keyword search and a category list.

Other Good Stuff:

Videos can be streamed in your browser using Flash in three quality settings and downloaded as an mp4.
Members of All Girl Mobile get access to several bonus sites, all with more great action in mobile-friendly interfaces.

The Cons

Non-exclusive content.

These are all non-exclusive lesbian scenes that can be found on other sites. You won't see anything original here.

Average-quality content.

Although these are mobile scenes, I did think the videos could have been sharper. There's a graininess to the scenes that I think was due mainly to the age of the content. They weren't bad, but quality was not a strength of the site.

Doesn't appear to be updating.

There's no update log and none of the scenes are dated so it's hard to say for sure, but according to our content counts no new content has been posted in at least a month.

Minor Negatives:

The site could use more viewing options. It would be great to see other download formats offered in addition to mp4.
Watch out for the trial! You'll pay just $2 for the first three days of limited access, but then it recurs at $30 a month.
No information is provided for any of the scenes, models, or files.

Bottom Line

An entertaining vintage gay collection on an easy to use mobile set-up.

Bijou World Mobile is a solid vintage entry into the world of mobile porn. I haven't reviewed too many of that type of sites, particularly vintage gay mobile porn, so in that regard it's even more worthwhile to fans of the genre. Updates are a question, but my other two main issues, quality and exclusivity, are basically inherent to the genre. Membership is fair at $20 a month. All in all, Bijou World Mobile is a decent site that is worth a look for fans.
