PROS:

There are so many gay sites out there that it's a wise idea for site in that niche to offer a specialty. Berlin Male does this by focusing on German models. The guest tour is set up exactly the same way as the member's area so non-members can browse the set up and even see the beginning parts of the galleries. They lay it out there so you'll know what's available before purchasing a membership.

The Goods:

- Exclusive Solo/Hardcore German Content. The German focus is the trait that helps separate Berlin Male from a lot of other gay sites. The collection features hundreds of models from 18 to over 30 years old. Content exclusivity is also a key strength with a blend of solo guy and guy/guy hardcore.

- Professional Design w/ Useful Features. The overall layout and design is very impressive. Some of the helpful navigation tools include browsing by video, images, models (by name, age, date added, highest rated). It's even possible to browse by what area the guy is from. The update has a history of past additions with dates posted. Members can rate the guys on a 1-10 scale and post feedback comments that appear on the site.

The Bads:

- No Full-Video Files, Only Clips. Each movie is broken into a few clips with an additional preview video too. The clip file sizes aren't all that large so I'm not sure why they forego having full movie files.

- Could Use More Content Viewing Options. In addition to only being offered in clips the movies are only in the single WMV format. The pictures don't have multiple sizes nor are zip download files an option. More choices are always welcome so the fact that Berlin Male has limited content viewing choices is a negative.

Conclusion:

Berlin Male is definitely one of those site's where the strengths outweigh the weaknesses. They've put together a solid website with a content collection that should be appealing to a lot of surfers. Based on the feedback comments posted on the site it's clear there are both German and American users interested in what they have to offer. One final item I didn't touch on yet is the price. At $24.95/mo the monthly rate is standard and reasonable while the pricey 14-day trial is a little unusual.
