Ahh, Hustler's Barely Legal. The name itself brings up porn images galore. Obviously this is Hustler's entry in the barely 18 market, so why wouldn't we want to take a look and see what they have to offer? If I'm not mistaken, there's a magazine by the same name that has been around for a while, and I would assume this is the online version of that. Magazines ported onto the internet can be real hit or miss, depending on what they offer, so it'll be interesting to see what Larry Flynt's team did here.
Unfortunately I got sidetracked after first logging, as it's not real clear where all the links go in the member's area. I assumed the photos and movies links went to their content, but instead you end up at a bunch of third-party plugin links. It's fine to have them as backup/filler content, but I don't like the fact that they make it look like their main stuff by the way the links are setup.
Anyhow, they do have a link to Barely Legal exclusive photo/video galleries on the bottom right, but I don't think this is the magazine's content, since there's no month/year info around. Browsing through the girls available here, it could very well be some extras from the magazine or something, since the pictures have that feel to them (or maybe they're online-only photoshoots for Barely Legal). Each girl has a small set, about 5-10 pics, with some just ok pics (they're all about 790x530). They look a little grainy, maybe because they're scanned in. I didn't see any video galleries here as promised; so either they're not there, or they're very well hidden.
From the main page, you can also click on the bottom left of the page and get to the online version of their magazines. This is what I was looking for :) They offer up a few articles and features (it could be all of the ones in the magazine, I'm not too sure as I've never seen the actual mag), as well as about 10 photo sets each month. Unfortunately, the pictures looked pretty similar to those I encountered earlier. They look like they're scanned in, and they're a little smaller than I'd hoped for. The pictures just aren't on par with web-only site. As I said earlier, the magazine sites can be hit or miss, and this is one of the reasons.
Hidden at first (to me, I just didn't see it thinking it was a banner) in the movies section is a large banner that links to Hustler's Movie Player. Here you can watch their movies, from all of their sites. These appeared to be mostly hardcore scenes, which is a big plus. First you select which video you wanna see, then which volume, then which clip. After that, there's both low- and high-quality versions in Windows Media, Quicktime, and Real Video format to choose from. Although they only played in your browser, the videos looked decent enough. It didn't look quite as good as the 400kbps encoding would suggest, but enjoyable to watch for sure. There's a search link that's not really a search at all, rather it's a list of all their movies. There's also a favorites folder to put the clips you liked most into for later viewing. The cool thing here is just the amount of videos they have, as it adds a lot of content to the overall picture. Too bad it's so damn hard to find.
They offer up all the usual extras you'd expect. Lots of plugins, stories, games, etc. to take a look at. The biggest story here is the new $10 a month price tag, which makes almost any site tough to not wanna join. Seeing as they have a bunch of back issues online, and the huge library of exclusive Hustler videos at that price, I don't really think it's too bad of a deal. There's a lot I'd like to change (picture quality, navigation, etc.), but at $10 I can't really complain. Once you learn where everything is, just enjoy what they have to offer :)

I'm not sure if there was a redesign here, but I didn't find it so difficult to get around the site this time. Magazines and photo sets were easy to find on their menu, just make sure your popup blocker is off to view the content here! Otherwise, not much has changed around here. They've grown of course, but the content looked pretty similar as last time. Videos now come with DRM attached, though they're downloadable if that makes any difference. Still not a bad deal here in my opinion (from the cheap price), as you're getting a good bit of exclusive content for a steal.

Some of these bigger sites have a pretty tough time changing things around, and I'm sure that's the case with Barely Legal as well. Things look very similar to last time, which isn't too bad of a thing in some regards. The price is still great, they're still updating regularly, and you still get access to all the archives and exclusive content. The negatives remain as well of course with lackluster navigation, less-than-stellar quality, etc. Much remains the same so I don't need to rehash it all here for you again :)
UPDATE! Well they've upped the price to $35 instead of $10 a month for now. A new site goes along with that which we'll be checking out soon hopefully.
