Intro

Bang Bang Boys is a gay video and photo site that incorporate both hardcore guy/guy sex along with solo jerking off action. The samples shown on the tour are an accurate representation of the guys, scenes, and type of content included. This is a monthly membership site however the company behind the site is AEBN which is one of the larger pay-per-view companies around. Some of that set-up bleeds over to Bang Bang Boys in terms of the video download files which are DRM protected.

The Pros

Hardcore & Solo Guy Videos/Photos, Good Sized Site.

Generally speaking this is a fairly balanced collection with hundreds of both video scenes and photo sets. There are more actual galleries but with around three hundred videos that's a nice sized section as well. The action features fit, buff, and athletic type guys in hardcore and solo action. There's a good mix of white models along with ethnic guys including a nice amount of black and latino. Bang Bang has been around for a number of years now and seems to have a nice track record of updating weekly.

Straightforward Design, Model Index & Video/Photo Sections.

There are separate photo and video pages with organization chronologically or by most viewed or A-to-Z. The Bang Boys section is a model index with each individual guys' page having a breakdown of his photo sets, solo videos, and action videos. While not overly special the design is easy to get around and they do have the fundamentals covered.

Other Good Stuff:

Videos are available in WMV format for downloading along with in-browser Flash streaming.
Member feedback and comments can be posted on the shoots. There is a decent amount of activity with some posts that can be fun to read.

The Cons

WMV Downloads are DRM Protected & Average Quality.

DRM protection on the videos means you do need to enter your active login for the site to view the movies even after they're saved to your hard drive. This is kind of a holdover from this company's other sites which are pay-per-view and not download oriented. The specs on the videos are also average and the photo galleries don't have any zip files. Basically downloading is more limited and not as friendly as many other paysites nowadays.

Little Update Information, Content Items Not Date-Stamped.

They don't really have update specifics on the content as dates are not posted. There is a latest news section at the top of the member's home page however that's more announcement type stuff than content item details.

Minor Negatives:

There is a Gavin Lowe's Bang Boys Blog however the last posting there was in 2009 so it's pretty much in-active.
No video file size, spec, or running time info is posted for the downloadable files.
There are some join page cross-sells along with member's area upsells and ads.

Bottom Line

A decent sized collection of gay hardcore/solo content however the videos are DRM protected.

Bang Bang Boys does well when it comes to quantity with hundreds of both videos and photo galleries. The fit muscular models that are a mix of white and ethnic guys are a plus as well. The member feedback/comments are often on how much the like a particular model. The DRM protected videos and lack of download options/quality levels is the biggest negative as it lags behind most paysites nowadays in that important area.
