Backstage 24 is a whole site dedicated to behind-the-scenes footage from porn shoots. It's a unique concept I guess, because you usually find this stuff tucked away in the bonus section of a paysite. I'm not sure if the theme is quite my thing, but it may be cool for some people out there. There doesn't appear to be any network access included with the site, and membership is up there at $30 a month. Hopefully you really like this content!
The goods:
- Exclusive, unique content. It's a different site than you're used to seeing, that's for sure. Plus the content is all exclusive from what I can tell, which is nice.
- Updates come often. A new scene is added every few days, which should help the site continue to grow. They only have 25 scenes up currently, which really isn't a lot to see yet.
- Quality is decent. You can see the current specs on our page, but at least they didn't dumb the quality down since it's just a behind-the-scenes shoot. There's the added bonus that the camera is generally still as well, making things look even better.
The bads:
- Small collection. With only 25 or so scenes up right now, there's really not a lot to see here. Updates come pretty often, but it'll still need some time to really grow into a larger collection.
- Theme may not work for some. You may get to see some fucking, but overall the shoots are a lot slower than you're used to. Plus, all the equipment is around and in the way. I just don't get this one personally, but hopefully you feel different.
- Expensive. $30 a month is a lot to spend on a site, especially on one that isn't very large, and doesn't offer any network access. Plus, the theme is pretty unique, which could be good or bad.
- I don't believe the closed captioning. They comments at the bottom of the screen are pretty unbelievable at times. The conversation doesn't flow, and I can't really picture people saying these things.
Conclusion:
Backstage 24 is unique at least, but I just don't know if it works for me currently. There's not a ton to see, and the price is a bit high. Thankfully the content is exclusive and looks decent, but then again, I'm not sure I could even get off on this stuff really. I think given some time, the specs/numbers could help down the road, but for now it's just so-so for me.
