Backseat Bangers is one of the banging-chicks-in-a-van reality sites. It's kind of weird how that specific niche caught on early on in the reality craze and became a standard in several networks. Backseat Bangers was one of those sites that was early on the scene with episodes dating back to 2002.
The Goods:
- Lots of Hardcore Reality Episodes. These guys have built up a very large number of videos over the years. Each episode does indeed feature guy/girl hardcore in a van. Any reality/video site that reaches into the hundreds of episodes is worth noting.
- Newest Episodes Have Downloads. This company has changed their ways recently when it comes to downloading options. Starting in March '07 the episodes can be downloaded in clips and full movie files. Streaming is still available as well.
- Bonus Site Access. One of the benefits of joining a large corporate network site like this is the bonus sites. Additional reality sites plus more old school niche sites come with membership.
The Bads:
- Most Episodes are Streaming-Only. It did take this company a long time to institute downloads so the vast majority of movies are only available in streaming format. It'll be interesting to see if they work their way back through the archives to add downloading ability there or keep that option for new stuff only.
- Episodes are Sold to Other Sites. While the content here is produced by this company it's not exclusive. The reality content is sold to many other paysites as 3rd party content and it's fairly common.
- High Monthly Price. The $39.95/mo price tag is definitely higher than most paysites. Along with the streaming videos this high price jumps out at you quickly as a clear negative.
Conclusion:
Updates is one are I did not cover yet. The site is consistent with one new episode per week which is pretty standard for reality video sites of this kind. They do have a good track record of updates that can be followed since all movies in the collection are dated. Basically the strength here are the hot girls in these reality movies while that positive is offset by the viewing options and price issues.

Backseat Bangers has done what I expected in that they continue to add new episodes to the collection. The total number of shoots is now well over two hundred which is excellent for a reality/video site. Of course one of the key items of discussion here has been the video formatting which changed over to the new ultra high-res WMV downloads (and Flash streams) just prior to our initial review. With the continued updates there are more episodes than ever with the downloadable options and subsequently the older streaming only movies make relatively less impact on the value. On the updates themselves the pace has become 1-2 additions per month which is undoubtedly on the slow side. Offsetting that is that fact that in a macro sense they already have a sizable collection, years of archives, and have been continually updating since the site went online which is a trait consistent across the vast majority of this company’s sites. The included network remains a part of membership and other items like design and navigation have held steady.
Score increased from 77.0 to 80.5.
