Intro

Babes.TV is up for review today, and it's been quite a while since I had last seen the site. They have recently gone through an upgrade in the member's area, and added some user features and streaming options that we wanted to take a look at. Their tour doesn't give you a ton of info, but they have some nice previews of high-quality babes (many of which may be familiar) along with some softcore and hardcore sets they offer inside. Membership is $30 a month, which is a little on the high side, but we'll see how it stacks up after going through the member's area.

The Pros

HD videos look great.

They've always been focused on quality here from what I remember, but times change, and what looked great before is below average these days. The jump to high-definition video is definitely welcome, and I hope they can pump them out quickly to fill things out with the higher quality now.

Updates come regularly.

There are several photosets and a couple videos added each week, and the new setup makes it a lot clearer on where the new content is. Hopefully the site continues to grow as it is.

Photos look real nice.

They're not huge, but they're not too small either thankfully. The quality, lighting, and just basic composition are usually done quite well, and they look good. Considering the name and domain of the site, I'm surprised the photos are as big a part of the site as they are.

Other Good Stuff:

The new site layout and options are pretty nice. My only beef is that it only houses the newest content, and you're stuck with the old site for the rest.

The Cons

Most content is stuck on old archive site.

This new site only came around a few months ago, and for some reason, they left all the old content on the older archive site, which is separate. That site is very plain, and not easy to find certain stuff. Since it's currently housing a majority of the content, it's what you'll use a majority of the time, which isn't a good thing.

Video quality isn't as good for older stuff.

As usual, the older videos aren't nearly as good as the newer stuff here. They are smaller, grainy, and just don't look great. The new videos look nice, but they just don't make up much of the site at all yet.

Minor Negatives:

There's a decent amount of content here, but the site overall doesn't "feel" very large. There aren't a ton of models I guess, which may contribute to it (plus the old site layout makes it hard to feel like you've seen everything).
You can't jump ahead immediately on the streaming videos, so you're stuck waiting for it to download to see the good stuff.
It may not be a huge deal since the content seems to be exclusive, but lots of the models are quite popular, and you've probably seen most of them before.
Even the new design already looks a little dated. It doesn't detract a ton from the site, but it is noticeable.

Bottom Line

The quality is good, but overall I was a little disappointed.

There's no doubt that the new material here at Babes.tv looks pretty nice. The new site is definitely more functional than the old one, but even still could use a little design refresher. The fact that most of the content is still stuck on the old site and design means that you're stuck using it. I have no idea why it wasn't imported into the new one, but it's a big pain. Overall, the quality and updates will help, but the site itself needs to be consistent and cohesive, and that will hold them back for now.
