Amazing Hentai World is an anime site that zeros in on offering a collection of videos to its members. So in that way the guest tour is informative because it has sample pictures from many videos included in the member’s area. However, the tour doesn’t give you a feel for the way the member’s area is set up so in that sense a review like this could be helpful here. Also, since they don’t lay out the content totals for guests TBP’s content facts can give you that info.
The Goods:
- Hardcore Anime Video Collection. Amazing Hentai World forgoes picture content to focus on just anime videos which is a plus (although they do have screen captures which I found most helpful as preview material). The action is hardcore boy/girl mostly along with group scenes. While I’m no anime expert I can describe the banging as fairly straightforward since it doesn’t feature crazy monster/creature type characters like other anime material.
- Full-Vid WMV Files, File Size Info. The movies are formatted in WMV format with medium and low quality levels. The medium has decent specs and since Anime sites can often have low quality videos it’s worth pointing out that these are pretty good. They do post the file sizes in MB for each video which is helpful.
- Update Info, Some Scene Summaries. There isn’t a dedicated update log but that’s not necessary since they do date-stamp each entry. The newer entries have full written summaries that encapsulate the scene (older entries don’t have this info).
The Bads:
- Average Quantity & Lack of Updates. The shoots here tend to come in at 5-10 minutes on average and there is only an okay amount of total content. Something that figures into this is the updates which have stopped as of the fall of 2008. The many months leading up to this review have seen no new additions.
- Lots of Member’s Area Ads/Upsells. Navigation is straightforward with the member’s home page having a list of the latest videos and then an All Videos page available for browsing the full collection. Beyond that there are links to bonus sites and then things get dicey with all kinds of ads. Ads and banners are present on every page from the member’s home to the individual video pages. It’s a bit much.
- No Content Source Details. As I mentioned in my Good section they do have scene summaries for the newest movies but no such info for many entries. Also, I think some source info would be helpful here since this seems like a mix of material but no such details are provided.
Conclusion:
While some anime sites get complicated with different types of picture galleries and videos with varying action Amazing Hentai World is pretty straightforward. They have just the videos and it’s consistent in terms of the hardcore anime action. The bit thing that stands out at the time of this review is the lack of updates. There is only an average amount of content and it seems they’ve stopped adding new stuff.
