Up for review today is Amateur Reality, and the best way I could categorize it would be to call it an old-school AVS-type site. Once you login, there are a lot of micro-sites listed that offer all sorts of different content. The amateur theme is overarching for everything, but each site has its own little niche, or main model, to keep it separate. Because of this, it's a little hard to generalize on the content since it can vary so much. I'd guess there's a lot of non-exclusive content here, but some of it could be exclusive for all I know. Membership is $30 a month, which is probably what I was expecting for a site like this.
The Pros
Lots of content overall.
Each individual site may not be that huge, but if you take the collection as a whole, there's a lot to see here. With over 100 separate micro-sites, almost one million photos, and over 22,000 videos, it's one of the larger sites you'll come across. On top of that, it doesn't even feel that big.
Video section is great to have.
If you click the videos link, it takes you to a whole new type of site that has all their videos in one place. It looks almost like a tube site honestly, but I verified that it's the videos from their AVS micro-sites. It's a little easier to get around, and if you're not interested in pictures, it's the place I'd head first and foremost.
Updates come pretty regularly.
Anywhere from every 1-7 days, there's something new added to one of the sites here. I'm not sure if there are any set schedules, but I was glad to see even a short update log to verify that new stuff is being added here.
Other Good Stuff:
I don't really like how it's setup necessarily, but I like the fact that they have a rudimentary search setup to find different types of content.
They don't really say one way or another, but I'd guess at least some of this content is all original, if not exclusive.
They have some bonus DVD feeds available to keep you busy in between their own content updates.
The Cons
Navigation is a pain.
I have never really liked this type of setup for getting around a site. It just takes so long to get to some content, and then you may not even like what you see. You're forced to pick a girl at first (or a site title), and hope she offers what you want. The video section is a nice touch, but the rest of the site is just too haphazard.
Quality needs work overall.
Some videos can look okay, but they are more the exception rather than the rule. Many videos are poorly lit, offer low quality, and can be grainy and pixelated. Pictures can be small and poorly lit as well.
Video section is too separate.
As much as I like the separate video section, it's too much its own site almost. There's no way to visit the girl's site that the video came from easily, and it has a totally different look and feel.
Minor Negatives:
Several sites I checked out offered very few videos compared to the pictures.
Also, several of the sites are on the small side, and may no longer update.
Due to the way the site is setup, you won't get some of the good solo girl features like interaction or a blog at times.
The look of the site is pretty plain overall. Some of the micro-sites can look better, but not often.
Bottom Line
There's lots to see, but don't expect many frills.
I'd join Amateur Reality for all the content they offer, and the nice homemade feel they have to most sites. They're still active too, with new stuff being added one or more times a week. The site overall is pretty simple and plain, and could use some changes. The same goes for the content, a lot of which feels older to me, as it just doesn't live up to the mainstream porn you see these days. The size is the best thing here, and hopefully you can find a few girls that keep it fun for you.
