Intro

Amateur Reality is an amateur AVS-style collection. What does that mean? Well, members get access to 108 mini-sites that are all run independently but joined together in one network. Each site has a minimum of 100 photos and 5 videos, so they're all quite small, but totaled together, there's really a lot of amateur porn to enjoy.

The Pros

Large amateur collection.

There are currently around 108 sites offering a total of around 2 million photos and 70,000 videos. Clearly there are some big sites in this collection! In particular I enjoyed Sexy Suz, a real amateur MILF with more than 35,000 photos! Her collection of scenes is obviously original and I'm pretty sure that a good number more on other sites are, as well. You never know what you'll find in this massive amateur collection.

Other Good Stuff:

They claim that updates come daily to the network except for on Sundays.
Be sure to check out the section of the network titled "Videos." They've pulled the videos out of all of their mini-sites and made them accessible here in one section. It makes it much easier for video fans to go through the collection this way rather than visiting all of the small sites.

The Cons

Design and navigation could be improved.

This is a very basic-looking site. They do offer a few browse tools, like a list of popular sites and category tags for the sites, but that's it. There's a lot of blind surfing through the sites to find something interesting.

Content quality varies.

The quality of the photos and videos varies immensely. They've got pictures that are 1500 x 1000 and pictures that are 640 x 480. Some look new, some are clearly several years old. There are lots of scenes that look like real homemade amateur content, which is great for entertainment value but not so great for content quality. This is very much a mixed bag but overall quality is poor to average.

Minor Negatives:

None of the sites offer zip downloads for the photo galleries.
Lots of sites are no longer updating. You don't really know until you get inside the individual site that it hasn't been touched in years.
Although these are supposed to be solo-model amateur sites, you won't find all the interaction that usually comes with sites in that genre. Don't come in expecting camshows and blogs!
Not all videos include a streaming Flash option.

Bottom Line

A pretty basic collection with some gems for fans of real amateur action.

Amateur Reality was hit or miss for me. There are some great sites in the network, but lots more that are small and filled with non-exclusive, poor quality junk. If you can overlook those, you'll be rewarded with some real amateur porn that makes joining worthwhile. It was really a mixed bag for me, but the AVS set-up was unique enough to make it worth a try for fans of amateur action.
