AltPorn Network is up for review today, and this is a collection of seven sites that offer something a little different from the norm I guess. They focus on alternative type girls, with a little femdom thrown in here and there, and some solo sites. You can also see pretty standard hardcore action. Sites include Club Aly Sinclair, Pussy In Stereo, Super Modern Domme, and more. $30 a month gets you in the door, which is about what I was expecting I guess.
The Pros
Unique alternative content.
The content isn't overly crazy or unique here, but it is something a little different from the norm. The femdom action can get pretty heated, and I hope your balls don't get sore too easily from just watching this stuff. Some of the girls have a little alt porn look, and just like to fuck, while others just like their sex a little harder than normal.
Updates come fairly often.
The video updates have been a little weird this last week, but if you look to the past, they generally added something there every 2-3 days or so. Photo updates are chugging along as well with three new additions this past week, which isn't bad. For seven sites, they could do better still, but at least there are as many updates as there are.
Other Good Stuff:
The content here seems to be all-exclusive from what I can tell.
Their videos come in quite a few flavors here. Expect to see a WMV, MPG, MP4, iPhone, and Flash streaming option.
The Cons
Needs more videos.
With over 600 photo galleries, I was shocked to see that the video count was under 100. I'm not sure why it's so lopsided, but it's a definite problem. I'd love to see them step up in the video department in a big way including way more updates there, and better quality as well (see below).
Navigation isn't great.
The whole site script they use just isn't one of my favorites, as it doesn't provide for many customization options unfortunately. The category and advanced search they have is nice, but just getting around the site otherwise is a pain. You are limited to eight scenes per page if you're just browsing, and that's the same for the models index.
Quality could be better.
Pictures never get overly large here, though they do look okay at times I'd say. If they could bump up the size, and keep the quality consistent, they wouldn't be bad. Videos, on the other hand, could use a bump up in quality all around. They're just a little small and grainy compared to what we're used to these days.
Minor Negatives:
It's not really billed as a solo site per se, but I was still disappointed to not see any interaction here with the models. There's a small bio to read through, but nothing more personal (except four blog posts from two years ago).
Bottom Line
Not a huge network or anything, but you can find some fun content here.
AltPorn Network can't really be compared to some of the major site networks that we come across, as everything feels a little more raw and amateur here. However, they have some pretty fun scenes with a twist that's different from most, which I like to see. Just don't expect tons of content, or great quality, or anything too unique except for the content itself, and you should have a good time here. To bump higher in score, I'd look for more videos, better navigation options, and higher quality all around.
