AdultVideoPlanet.com is a collection of video sites that falls somewhere between an AVS and a paysite network. Here is how it works. Webmasters create sites with approved video content. Members get access to all of the webmaster created sites. It's like an AVS in that individual webmasters "design" and run the individual sites. It's like a network in that all of the content is supplied by AdultVideoPlanet. Make sense? Basically it's a large archive of porn dvds divided into categories that are set up like individual sites.
There are currently 98 sites participating in the AVP network. Each site has no fewer than twelve videos bringing the total video count up to 1,320. Webmasters are required to update their site at least once a month. Monthly updates may not seem like much but with 98 sites, you're almost guaranteed to have something new each time you visit. On the member's index page you will find a listing of the newest sites but unfortunently there is no way to locate the most recently updated sites. I think that would be a great feature to add. Anyhow, the sites are divided into categories with the largest category being Teen with 13 sites currently available. Interracial, cumshot, hardcore, and Asian are a few more of the larger categories. There is no search feature, nor is there any way to bookmark your favorite sites. The network still seems quite new and it's still lacking some of the navigation features that make browsing similar sites much easier.
Upon entering the sites, you'll find that they're all set up identically. Each video comes with a vidcap photo gallery and multiple video options. First off, users have four speed options ranging from 56k up to 768k. At each speed you have the choice of downloading or streaming the video either in its entirety or clip by clip. I was very pleased to find so many options. I was also impressed by the video quality. I checked out several of the high quality clips and really enjoyed the crisp full-screen video. Even the medium quality clip at 340k was very good. The videos felt a little amateur in theme but they were clearly professionally shot. Some of the videos do repeat and you'll find them on multiple sites but overall each site has its own content, though none of it is exclusive. The videos are entertaining, especially for those who enjoy hardcore sex scenes, but I felt they lacked character. None of the videos have any scene descriptions or star lists. It's just people having sex. Not that that is a bad thing, but if you enjoy a plot to your porn you won't find much here.
AdultVideoPlanet.com is a pretty unique network. The closest site I can compare it to is DeluxePass. They both cost the same at $30 a month but DeluxePass has almost 800 sites to AdultVideoPlanet's 98. AdultVideoPlanet has 129,159 MB of content compared to DeluxePass's 8,338,294 MB. That's quite a large difference! However, AVP does excel in terms of content quality and video options. Both are good sites, it just depends what you're after. If a massive collection is important to you then DP is your best bet. But for quality video the award goes to AVP. I'd say for video fans AVP is certainly worth a look.

Adult Video Planet's biggest weakness at our last visit two years ago was that it just wasn't large enough. They've had ample time to grow and it looks like they've done just that. The number of sites included has increased from 98 to 176. The size of the collection has grown from 129,159 MB of content to 596 GB. That's much more competitive with what similar sites offer. Other than that, little has changed. The video still looks good, but not quite as impressive as it did two years ago since standards have changed. Membership still costs $30 a month which isn't cheap but you are getting a lot of porn for your buck. I'm changing a few scores and increasing my total overall. For the most part, Adult Video Planet has made some nice progress since our last visit.
