AdultRental.com is a - you guessed it - Video on Demand site with more than 8,350+ full-length DVD titles from your most well-known Studios and big time pornstars. Yes, this is a pay per view site and even though it's not my preferable method for paying for/viewing movies, they are usually likely to have the largest selection of online Adult Videos. And while Adult Rental sure does have a lot, they do fall short compared to other PPV sites that can have upwards or 20 and even 50,000+ DVD's to browse through. Here you'll find more than 8,350+, which is no small feat, by the way. There are no date stamps or update schedules, but it does look like new content is added continuously, so that number should continue to grow with time. When it comes to cost, which is key, Adult Rental tends to be about average and pricing is as follows:
10 minutes for $1.99 = .20$/minute
25 minutes for $4.75 = .20$/minute
70 minutes for $9.95 = .14$/minute
125 minutes for $14.95 = .12$/minute
225 minutes for $19.95 = .09$/minute
350 minutes for $29.95 = .085$/minute
625 minutes for $49.95 = .08$/minute
Considering each video runs anywhere from 60 minutes to 235 minutes in length, one can see that it could likely cost an average of $15 bucks for a full-DVD download. But if you're one to just catch a scene here or there (which is more likely), then is seems reasonable that you can catch a good enough selection for a decent price. IF you watch a lot or porn, well then I surely hope you have deep pockets!
The Good:
- Even though Adult Rental doesn't come close to offering the largest selection of Adult Porno online for PPV, they do still offer a ton of video content. Selection here is key and you will find a large variety of content from all different genres, gay or straight and everything in between.
- Newest additions offer "high definition" video streams as high as 2000k (512x384). These are pretty good looking video streams with the option to go full-screen, although they don't quite look high-def or even 2000k quality to me.
- Many different quality options are offered, from dial-up to ultra (1200k), the new high-def, and a couple more in between. They also break DVD's down into 5-15+ "scene" selections, which allows you to jump ahead and get straight to the action.
- Although the overall look of the site could be smoothed out some, the design does offer a keyword search along with the ability to browse by category, studio, or star. You can also add movies to your favorites, check out the top 10, etc.
The Bad:
- Obviously a PPV method isn't a preferred one for those who like the biggest bang for their buck, but that aside, Adult Rental doesn't offer quite as many DVD's as a few of the other PPV sites out there, although their pricing is comparable.
- Even those videos with the addition high-def option of 2000k streams, some of them didn't look to be up to par when it comes to quality. To me, they look more like a glorified 900k stream. Although this wasn't always the case. Also, all videos are in-browser only and no downloads are available.
- They could also use some more advanced search features using multiple filters, etc. And even though they break down the DVD's into "scenes" these aren't really scenes like you would see on an actual DVD at all, they more like simple bits and pieces of the movie without preface to where or what's going on besides a small screen cap.
- What's a PPV site without tons of user features/comments/ratings/etc. If you're going to spend up to $10+ for a DVD, you'd think you want a little more to go off of before purchase.
The Conclusion:
Overall this was just a so-so POV site in my opinion, and if it was just a paysite, I think I'd dislike it even more. Not to be harsh, but the pricing structure is comparable to other, larger, POV sites out there and you can't even download anything! Your options are in-browser streams only and the "high-def" videos are nothing close to high definition. In that way, Adult Rental was a big disappointment. I did like how they offered some sort of "scene" breakdowns however, because I think it's really sneaky when POV sites force you to download/pay for a complete 120 minute DVD when all you want to see is the middle 15 minutes or whatnot. In the end, however, I just don't think AdultRental.com is going to hold-up compared to whatever else is out there in POV land for now. They need to work on a more advanced site design with better quality video streams to catch up. And more videos being added at a quicker pace wouldn't hurt either.

I have no idea how they've done it, but Adult Rental has managed to accumulate more than 19,500+ videos, clearly putting the rest of the slacker video sites to shame in the numbers department! Other than that, I don't think much else has changed. Browsing around I found the "HD streams" to go up to 2000k still, so I'd love to see some improvements there for sure. The price structure hasn't been changed and more user options are a definite must. So other than a massive jump in video count, Adult Rental still has a lot to work on. My score will go up a little bit this time, but nothing major. Now that they’ve got the numbers game down, let’s work on the quality bitrates!
