Well there are a lot of reality sites out there, but ActionGirls.com isn't one of those. I guess it would have to be classified as a fantasy porn site. The theme or story here is that it's the future, the world has been destroyed, and the ActionGirls must do what it takes to survive in the hostile environment. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I will give them marks for creativity. The site consists of naked hot chicks shooting at something or someone, but I don't know what it is. So basically the content is naked or stripping chicks with guns, in prisons, and similar situations. The whole futuristic story isn't developed any more than that, which leads me to think these guys were looking for an excuse to film hot broads shooting guns. For me that's original enough and it would be better to drop the whole "futuristic survival" story and just tell surfers they have content of hot pornstar babes shooting off heavy firearms because they think it's cool.
Scotty JX is the photographer and he's managed to get some big names in the content: Silvia Saint, Veronica Zemenova, Sonja Adams, and more. They're all pornstar/adult model babes that are greased up and wearing militaristic garb. Fortunately there's lots of stripping and nudity and most of these chicks can't help but look hot. Too bad the gunfire kept distracting me from focusing on their goodies.
The content is both pics and videos. Picture quality is very nice and most models have both normal and high resolutions available. It's the videos where most of the production value can be found. The quality is excellent, there scene fading, and background music to go with the visuals. Downloading choices are numerous with large and small downloads in Quicktime, Real, and Windows Media Player. Too bad the site design and navigation don't have the same neatness as the videos. I had a very difficult time moving around from section to section and the site seems too cluttered and unorganized. A cleaner layout would go a long way to making ActionGirls more appealing to porn-seekers.
I located and updates page and it looks like new stuff is added several times a week. Right now (as of 1/2/04) they seem to be promoting Season 2 of ActionGirls, for whatever that's worth. The price here is $29.99/mo which seems a bit high, but the 3-day $4.95 trial helps. I have to believe the audience for this site is narrower than most sites, but it could appeal to those looking for a fresh way of seeing those hot starletts. Personally, I think the only kind of "action" these girls should be involved with is hardcroe sex action.

I've reviewed a ton more sties in the year and a half since my first look at Action Girls. Still there is nothing else that's quite like it. The plot and stories remain a mystery to me as does the site layout which makes it difficult to tell how much they've been updating. One feature that is offered is the Action Girls soundtrack which can be streamed or downloaded. Also, Volume 1 of their DVD is now for sale on the site. The main points of my original review still apply since the essence of the movies and pics remains the same. If pornstars in military fatigues with guns happens to be your thing then Action Girls might just be the only place to find such content.

Action Girls has been sticking to its guns, so to speak, since our last follow-up review. New content is continually added and for such a specialty niche site they have built a respectable collection of content. The three video formats WMV, QT, and Real is worth mentioning again since it's great that they have that many choices. The design and layout haven't changed but the monthly price has been bumped up to $34.95/mo which is a five dollar increase. The uniqueness of the material definitely remains the key selling point here.
