Absolute Videos looks like your pretty basic porn site here, with some hardcore scenes added weekly, and no real theme to the site (besides sex, of course). Going through their tour, you'll find some pretty normal content, what looks to be regular updates, and just a pretty average site overall. The one thing that stuck out for me was the high price tag of $35 a month here, which I hope they can make worth our while once inside.
The goods:
- Videos look great. Make sure to click the button towards the bottom of the page to switch to the HD-quality videos, as it's definitely worth it. The default setting isn't that great. Unfortunately they've been downgraded and aren't actually high-definition in terms of specs, but they still look pretty damn good.
- Updates seem to come regularly. Most of the content isn't dated, but the latest stuff is. Besides an incorrect date (the year 1969), it looks like they add a few clips once per week.
The bads:
- Not a huge site. There are only 55 videos up currently, which just isn't a ton of content. Add in the higher price tag, and it's made that much worse.
- Videos are offered as feeds too. You may see this content on other sites as a plugin of some sort, meaning it's not entirely exclusive material.
- Downloads only offered in WMV. Granted, there are a few viewing options from quality settings to download choices, but they're still all just WMV files. Anyone who doesn't like them is in a bit of trouble. The Flash videos are available in streaming, but that's not quite as fun sometimes.
- Expensive. $35 is just a lot to spend monthly for a porn site. There are many out there that are in the $20 range that do pretty well. Add in the lackluster size of the collection, and it's a tough pill to swallow for sure.
Conclusion:
I like the content they have here. It looks good, seems to be all original at least, and is updated regularly. The $35 price tag really commands a better site though, and I don't quite feel that they deliver yet. There's just not enough to see here, and nothing stands out as so extraordinary that it's worth the high price. Hopefully the updates continue and the site grows, but for now it's a bit of a tough call for me.
