Intro

19nitten is up for review today, and honestly, I have no idea what their site name means really. I do know that the site features 18 gay guys showing off their bodies and playing with themselves. Plus, based on the site name, and just the look of the models and locations, I'd guess most of the content comes from Europe. They don't seem to offer any hardcore gay action, but everything is exclusive at least. $30 will get you in for a month here, or you can spend a little more and get a multi-month membership for less per month if you choose.

The Pros

Updates come often.

Though their site isn't necessarily huge, that doesn't mean they don't put up new content pretty often. This last week brought two new videos, and six new photo galleries, which is pretty good overall. If they didn't take off old content at times, the site would probably be quite large.

Exclusive gay solo content.

They seem to shoot all their own material here. They stick with a pretty narrow niche of 18-25 year old guys posing nude and playing with themselves. There's not a lot of talking, and there aren't any hardcore scenes that I saw, so hopefully that fits right in with what you're looking for. They definitely stick to the solo twink genre.

Other Good Stuff:

They offer some basic model bios for the guys they feature, which was nice to see. You can get a little background info on them this way at least.

The Cons

Navigation is horrible.

Actually, both the design and navigation need some major work. This looks like the site was created several years ago and then just left the way it stands now. Everything from the gallery layouts to the lack of options makes it very difficult to get around. There's no search or categories, no models index, and it's even confusing at times where to get started exactly in your search for content.

Quality is pretty bad at times, especially for videos.

The photos can actually look decent at times, though they quickly shrink in size down to dimensions that we just haven't seen in 4-5 years. Videos, on the other hand, consistently look bad. They are too small, too compressed, and don't come anywhere near the quality level we're used to these days.

Minor Negatives:

Videos come in zip files, which is an annoying extra step you have to take to view the video, all for a very small savings in file size that just isn't worth it.
As for photo galleries, zip files only seem to be offered on the older archive sets, and not on the newer sets for some reason.
They rotate old content off after a while, and I have no idea if they ever bring it back or not. Why not offer your full collection here? They have dates up for when certain sections will be deleted.
Besides the videos coming only in zip files, there are very few options for them. You get a single WMV file only. I'd look for more video types, more quality options, and a streaming version as well.

Bottom Line

Some okay content, and a nice update schedule, but the site is painful at times.

19nitten does have a decent amount of content, and you should have some fun here overall. However, the way the site is setup is just pretty basic compared to what we're used to these days. Navigation and design are horrible. Quality bounces up and down a ton, but for videos, it's mostly down. They take old content off in intervals, which is the complete opposite of most sites who are trying to offer as much as possible. Download options are strange or missing at times, including the lack of zips, but the requirement of zips for the video files. It's not terrible, but a site redesign and an update to their overall philosophy might help them out in the long run.
